Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council and the Patron of the "Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award", congratulated the winners of the 7th Edition of the Award. The Creative Sports Award is one of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s "Global Initiatives", and one of the biggest development and humanitarian initiatives of its kind. In addition to that, it is the most prestigious Creative Sports Award in the world with respect to its financial rewards and the various categories. This Award is the first in the world to honor sports creativity and strive to consolidate sports creativity as a work pattern in the sports world.

His Highness, advocate of the Award, welcomed the winners including leaders, sportsmen and women, members of the administration, and technicians, coming from all over the Arab region and the world to receive an award on Thursday January 14, at the Award ceremony in the Dubai World Trade Center, at 11:30 am. H.H. congratulated the Award for its leading role: "it had become a dream for all the members of the sports committee, as it is born from the vision and mind of its leader and creator, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai. I am proud to carry his name and follow in his footsteps, as he always sheds the light on creativity and innovation as a way of

work and a way of life."

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum continued saying: "I have launched this award after 7 years of hard committed work in the sports sector of the UAE, by awarding creative sportsmen and women, while implementing and spreading the culture of creativity and innovation at work. This is the pattern we have adopted and we aim to promote it in aspects of everyday life and especially in sports. We also plan to strengthen the leading stature and role of the Award which, I am proud to announce, has become one of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s biggest humanitarian and progressive initiatives", concluded High Highness.

His Excellency Mater Mohammed Al-Tayer, Deputy Chairman of Dubai Sports Council and Chairman of the Secretaries’ Council of the Award, expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of the Dubai and President of the Dubai Sports Council, for his piercing vision and rational directives that led to the creation of this Award and determined its goals. He explained that, the endless devotion of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed to this award led it to become a leading pioneer model in the UAE, the Arab region and the world.

"This Award was created from the vision of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of the Dubai and President of the Dubai Sports Council, to improve the future of the Sports sector. We have been working lately on the directives of His Highness, which have become a work pattern for us. Thanks to guidance and care of His Highness, this Award has brought care and support to creative sportsmen and women in all sports fields, and all over cities, in the Arab region and the world", said His Excellency.

Al- Tayer added: "This initiative has been leading progress and transformation in sports, turning a simple achievement into an unprecedented success based on creativity and innovation."

"Every year this award accomplishes so much in the process of continuous development, and its effects and support are spreading fast. It will keep on growing and developing because it was built on solid peaceful grounds and has reached all the members of the Sports sector in different fields, offering them motivation and encouragements, awarding creativity and enroot the innovation pattern at work", explained Mater Al-Tayer.

"These incentives are vital and very important in the Sports sector, as they always appear in the directives of His Highness, Crown Prince of the Dubai, who created the Award, and the guidelines of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Award and President of the National Olympic Committee, leading the Creative Sports Award since it was launched and setting the path for the Board of Trustees and its commissions." His Excellency concluded.
