(ATR) There is just a few days left to vote in the Sports City Index, and so far there has been a "great response" to the survey.

The Sports City Index survey, presented by Around the Rings and TSE Consulting, is live. However, voting ends on Thursday, December 5.

Results from the second edition of the rankings will be published on December 10.

Lard Haue-Pedersen, executive director of TSE Consulting, tells Around the Rings,"The second edition of the Sports City Index has seen a great response. This shows that such a survey is important for cities worldwide who want to know more about their influence in the international sports framework. We are very much looking forward to the results."

The index measures public opinion about cities and their capabilities of hosting large-scale international sporting events.

Metrics evaluated include public perception of the city as a host for major sports events, the city having world-class facilities and infrastructure, as well as general attractiveness of the city as a destination.
