IPC's Best Team from Sochi 2014 Paralympics
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has revealed the shortlist for the Best Team from March based on performances at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, and the public can now vote for the winner on www.paralympic.org.
2015 IPC General Assembly
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has opened the process for cities to bid to host the 2015 IPC General Assembly, an event staged every two years which regularly attracts hundreds of attendees from around the world.
Last held in November 2013 in Athens, Greece, the IPC General Assembly is the supreme authority of the IPC and is composed of representatives of National Paralympic Committees, International Organisations of Sport for the Disabled, Regional Organisations, International Sport Federations, IPC Sports, guests and observers.
In 2015, the General Assembly and its related meetings will last a total of four days attracting around 350 people from more than 100 countries.
Prospective bidders have until 15 June 2014 to submit their applications which must address the requirements that are outlined in the bid document, including accessibility.
IPC Swimming
IPC Swimming has launched a call for organisers to bid to host the 2017 world and 2018 European championships, which will follow the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

World Leisure Center of Excellence
The World Leisure Organization (WLO) requests proposals to establish new World Leisure Centers of Excellence (WLCE) programs. The required documentation of expertise and qualifications outlined in this request are intended to serve primarily as a general guide for each statement of qualifications, with the minimum requirements listed. Each college and/or university is expected to submit a fully detailed statement of qualifications, which adequately describes the advantages and benefits WLO would realize by selecting their institution. Through this Request for Proposal process WLO may select multiple institutions to establish WLCE programs.

ITU 2015 World Triathlon Championships
The International Triathlon Union (ITU) has opened bidding for the World Triathlon Championships 2015 to all National Federations and cities interested in hosting the final race of the 2015 World Triathlon Series.
"ITU is committed to hosting top level events in iconic cities," ITU President and IOC Member Marisol Casado said. "As our sport continues to rise in popularity, we believe hosting the ITU World Triathlon Championships offers cities the possibility to showcase their city to a global audience."
In 2009, the championships were revamped, expanding the former single-day World Championship race into an exciting multi-city global series, during which athletes vie for prize money totaling more than $2 million USD. The series culminates with the ITU World Triathlon Championships, which will continue to be called the World Triathlon Grand Final through 2013.

Any media personnel who wish to cover the 17th Incheon Asian Games 2014 must complete application for accreditation before the deadline which is May 20, 2014 (Korea Standard Time : GMT +9). After the deadline, application for accreditation and on-site accreditation will not be accepted. Also, modification of information will not be accepted.

Paralympic Sport Club Development Program
U.S. Paralympics, a division of the United States Olympic Committee, today launched the Paralympic Sport Club Development Program, a new initiative designed to support grassroots organizations that are committed to providing sustainable Paralympic sports programming that strengthens the athlete pipeline to the U.S. Paralympic Team. Paralympic Sport Clubs that participate in the three-level program will receive recognition and awards designed to help organizations honor achievements and further pursue excellence within the Paralympic Movement.

2015 Ski World Championships
The process of recruiting volunteers for Vail and Beaver Creek’s 2015 World Championships will officially kickoff this Thursday, Sept. 12, from 5-7 p.m. MT at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, with the first 215 people in the gate receiving a special 2015 commemorative gift. Prize raffles will also be conducted throughout the evening.

RIOU
The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) is welcoming applications from NOCs for its two scholarships to study on the second Master of Sports Administration (MSA) course at the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) in Sochi.
As part of ANOC’s commitment to disseminating best practice amongst its 204 member NOCs, ANOC will allocate two full scholarships – courtesy of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation – to talented individuals currently working within the ANOC family to study on RIOU’s second MSA programme, which runs from September 2014 until June 2015.
ISA Individual Scholarship Program
The ISA is proud to continue to award academic surf scholarships to Under-18 junior surfers from all over the globe. The ISA Individual Scholarship Program was established in 2007, and in its six year history has awarded 172 individual scholarships and a total of $128,500. This year, the ISA will award 50 individual $1,000 scholarships, a total of $50,000.

World Olympian Association
The World Olympians Association [WOA], the member organisation of all Olympians established to help support Olympians around the world and promote Olympism in the community, has launched a tender process to recruit a digital agency partner.
The successful digital consultancy will be tasked to re-design and modernise the organisation’s online platforms, including creating a new website and integrating social media tools. The appointed agency will also have a broad range of responsibilities to develop and manage the WOA’s online content such as a new Online Olympic Reunion Center, the President’s Blog and the WOA Twitter and Facebook presence. Seven agencies have been invited to pitch for the business.

Turkmenistan
The State Committee for Sport has announced an international tender for the design and construction of new sports facilities in Ashgabat and other velayats (regions). It is planned to construct a new sports school specialising in chess and checkers in the Turkmen capital. One of the most important facilities to be built in Ashgabat is the Olympic Training Centre that will include sports training bases and a scientific and research laboratory.
ICC Cricket World Cup 2015
The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified companies for the provision of media buying services.
EOI submissions will be evaluated against specific criteria with respondents who qualify then invited to prepare detailed proposals as part of a tender process. Ultimately, the successful company will work closely with the LOC which has offices in Melbourne, Australia and Wellington, New Zealand. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will be played in venues across both countries in February and March 2015.

The portal will serve as the main channel of communication with supplier companies and has the potential to change the way of purchasing goods and services and become a legacy for national industry. The new tool will host the Games Demand for Goods and Services Plan, the Organising Committee’s purchase schedule until 2016, which will allow companies to plan ahead and also seek extra qualifications to meet the Olympic demands.
