The International Executive will be part of a small team based out of the World Golf Day office within the offices of IMG London. The principal role will be to assist in establishing World Golf Day in a number of non-English speaking overseas markets by securing the participation of golf clubs, federations, local charities and/or through creative collaborations with other local stakeholders.

Sochi 2014 Drives an Inclusive Kids Contest

To celebrate International Children's Day, Sochi 2014 is holding an all-Russian contest of children's Novellas as part of the Class Mira project. The drive is part of a series of initiatives of the Sochi 2014 Cultural Olympiad aimed at fully integrating children with a disability into society. This unique contest will see children from all over Russia competing to create a winning musical performance. It will be the first time that children with a disability take part in a national musical competition along with their healthy peers to find the best young musical performance in the country. Young writers from all over Russia between the ages of 13-16 are eligible to take part. The competition closes on the 31 July, when the Board of Trustees will select twenty of the best submissions.

Personal Bests to Everyone's Progress

Personal Bests to Everyone’s Progress places Atos Business Technologists at the heart of the campaign and will be integrated across all communication channels. It focuses on the essential role Atos plays in delivering the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which is the largest sports IT contract of all time. To support the campaign, key people responsible for the successful delivery of London 2012 have made personal best pledges. The first four have been made by Thierry Breton, Chairman and CEO of Atos; Jacques Rogge, President of the IOC; Seb Coe, Chair of LOCOG; and Steve Cram, London 2012 Ambassador for Atos. Each pledge represents a personal ambition for the Games and underpins the Personal Bests to Everyone’s Progress campaign.

A Symposium on Healthy Sport and the Legacy of Doping

The Foundation for Global Sports Development, in association with the International Academy of Sports Science and Technology, is pleased to announce the organisation of a symposium on anti-doping and drug-free sport to be held in the centre of London prior to the start of the Games of the XXX Olympiad. IPC Academy Games Experience Programme

The Games Experience Programme is being held between 3 to 5 September 2012 and will give governments, bidding and candidate cities, and those involved in the Paralympic Games supply chain a much greater understanding of the complexities involved in delivering the second biggest sporting event in the world.

World Fit Walk 2012

The World Fit mission is to promote a culture of health and fitness for children. World Fit strives to eradicate both childhood obesity and the enormous toll obesity has taken on families, society and healthcare systems.

Through Olympian and Paralympian participation, World Fit pairs these mentors with schools to inspire their students about the importance of health, fitness and Olympic values of perseverance, respect and fair play.The World Fit Walk is the heart of the World Fit program. Each year, the Walk begins on the Monday following Spring break and continues for the following six weeks. Daily, students who participate in the World Fit Walk will log their miles via the website, www.worldfit.org.

ITTF Dream Building Program

The ITTF Dream Building Program is the new umbrella branding of the social responsibility programs that the ITTF is involved in and brings together the Development Program "creating opportunities to dream", Para Table Tennis "nothing can stop the dream" and Junior Table tennis "creating the dream pathway".

Individuals will be able to donate at the website www.ittfdream.com/donate. Corporations are invited to partner the ITTF Dream Building program for their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. Recognition levels will be commensurate with the level of support, and ranges from Bronze Dream Builders to Platinum Dream Builders.

U.S. Archery

"Shooting for Gold"

USA Archery kicks off one of its most important initiatives, called "Shooting for Gold:" an effort to raise funds to support the team and the organization in the lead-up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Hoping to capitalize on the excitement of 2012, USA Archery has launched a peer donation engine, which is a secure online portal that will allow people to raise funds for USA Archery, or make a one-time donation to the organization.

Postgraduate Research Grant Programme 2013

The IOC Olympic Studies Centre (OSC) has launched the 2013Postgraduate Research Grant Programme intended for early careerresearchers engaged in scholarly research on the Olympic Movement, itshistory and ideals, and the impact of the Olympic Games on the variousaspects of contemporary society and culture. Encourage early careerresearchers to undertake research with a humanities or social sciencesperspective on the Olympic phenomena. For the 2013 selection, 16priority fields of research are being proposed to the researchers.
