The Golden 25, now in its 18th year, presents a listing of the most influential figures involved with the Olympics for the year ahead. Events in 2016 that will shape the nominees include the Rio Games, FIFA reforms, the Winter Youth Olympics in Lillehammer, formation of the Olympic Channel, Olympic Agenda 2020 changes and rebuilding of organizations such as SportAccord and the Pan American Sports Organization.
