The Globe Soccer Awards 2014 awarded Riccardo Silva ‘Best Media Executive’ at the ceremony celebrated at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai at the presence of UEFA’s President Michel Platini, UEFA’s General Secretary Giovanni Infantino, representatives of AC Milan and Real Madrid FC, UEFA’s Chief refereeing officer Pierluigi Collina, Head of FIFA Refereeing Massimo Busacca and many more important attendees.

These prestigious awards recognize each year the best in the football industry for their hard work and results. Other categories include ‘Best Player of the Year’, ‘Best Agent’ and ‘Best Club’.

Previous personalities of the sports industry like Cristiano Ronaldo, Franck Ribéry, Jorge Mendes, Diego Armando Maradona, Alessandro del Piero, Rob Jansen and Antonio Conte have been awarded for their merit as player, coach or agent of the year; as well as football clubs, such as Barcelona FC, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich.

In this sixth edition and history of the Globe Soccer Awards, amongst the excellence of the global football, from the conquerors of Real Madrid in the Decima championship, to the World Champions of Germany, ending with the presence of AC Milan’s representatives, there is also the founder of MP & Silva, the media company specialized in sports rights.
