Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Jumping: 13 teams at second Europe Division 2 qualifier at Odense (DEN)

The second qualifier of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping 2014 Europe Division 2 League will take place at the Odense CSIO3* in Denmark this Friday, 16 May attracting a field of 13 teams.

The starting order, which was determined by a draw held at Odense last night will be as follows:

1. Belgium

2. Great Britain

3. Switzerland

4. Sweden

5. Denmark

6. France

7. Norway

8. Netherlands

9. Italy

10. Chile

11. Australia

12. Ireland

13. Poland

Only three teams – Norway, Poland and the home side Denmark – will be eligible for Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping points in Europe Division 2. Finland is leading the Europe Division 2 standings after one event. The detailed standings are available here.

Friday’s competition will begin at 16.00 CEST (local time in Denmark, GMT+2 hours) and will be broadcast live on FEI TV, the FEI’s official online video platform.

"Furusiyya" (Arabic: فروسيه) this single Arabic word conveys so much, embracing the idea of horsemanship, chivalry, and equestrian knowledge in general. The term is a derivation of faris, or horseman and faras, a horse.
