(ATR) Tessa Jowell, Britain`s Olympic minister for the 2012 Olympics, says she wants to be mayor of London.
Tessa Jowell is hinting about running for mayor of London in 2016.
"This isn't the time for declaration but I'm certainly preparing my plan," Jowell was quoted as saying by Britain's ITV network.
"My absolute priority is be able to answer the big questions and the big challenges London face."
Right now, however, she said she is focused on supporting her Labour party in the upcoming elections.
"So that's got to be where the effort goes," she concluded.
Boris Johnson, London's mayor since 2008, will step down at the end of his term.
Multiple other politicians are considering a campaign for the mayorship.
