In April 2016, CISA will celebrate its 10 years, a crucial turning point for an event, which becomes today an international reference and the unique forum of its kind on the continent.

For this 10th edition, besides the traditional themes featuring on the program like the fight against Doping and the organization of major sporting events in Africa, CISA discussions will be focusing on the IMPACT OF SPORTS ON AFRICAN ECONOMIES in an attempt to understand the impact of sports in the very diverse African economies.

Today, sport has become a real industry almost everywhere with measurable data and an effective legal environment while the economic impact of sport in most African countries remains deliberately or not, unknown. What are the characteristics of the business of sport in Africa? What is the place of sport in the Economy within the continent? Is there any economic model for African sport? Is it realistic to adopt and adapt the current models in Africa? Who are the actors of the sport in Africa?

These are questions, among others that CISA participants will try to answer.

Additionally, with the contribution of WADA Regional Office for Africa, the Doping topic will discuss the International Anti-Doping Code Compliance while Algeria will be on the center stage on the 3rd theme on the Organization of the major sporting events with the country positioning itself to be a destination for the major sporting events as they get ready to stage the 2018 Africa Youth Games and the 2021 Mediterranean Games. .Finally the IOC

Agenda 2020 will be discussed and participants will determine whether it is an open door for Africa ?

CISA 2016 is scheduled from 31st March to 2nd April in Algiers.
