FIFA Presidential Candidate, Gianni Infantino, has today detailed a comprehensive action plan that he will implement in his first 90 days as FIFA President if he is elected on 26 February 2016.

Following on from the launch of his Manifesto – Taking FIFA Forward – which outlined Reforms and Good Governance, Democracy and Participation and Football Development as the cornerstone of his vision for FIFA – the 90 day plan details further how Infantino will bring about change, openness and transparency at the governing body of world Football.

In his first 90 days as FIFA President, Gianni Infantino would :

1. Implement good governance and compliance reforms

2. Appoint a new FIFA Secretary General

3. Plan strategy meetings with Member Associations to take place in Autumn 2016

4. Consult with key commercial partners to bring trust back to the market

5. Set up new Football Development regulations

6. Place a renewed focus on tailor-made national and regional projects to assist Associations

7. Launch the process for the 2026 FIFA World Cup

8. Inaugurate a new and dynamic Exchange and Internship programme to increase cooperation at all levels

9. Introduce concrete reforms of the transfer system

10. Create a Legends Team to promote the social impact of Football globally

11. The final point would be unveiled at FIFA Congress on 26 February 2016

Speaking about his 90 day plan, Gianni Infantino said:

"It’s a privilege to be in London today to unveil my 90 day plan and set out in detail my priorities for FIFA and the changes I will implement if I am elected President on 26 February. For too long the scandal and corruption that has engulfed FIFA has taken centre-stage and I believe my proposals will help put Football back in the spotlight where it belongs.

"My vision for FIFA and for Football is based on the many discussions I have had with Association heads in recent weeks and months and these conversations have reaffirmed my view that change is needed now. We must seize this opportunity to reach the next generation of football fans and players around the world. The global game has spoken and we must deliver the change that is necessary for the good of the game.

"Associations are the bedrock of our game and between now and the 26 February I look forward to meeting with more colleagues to discuss how we can work collaboratively to deliver meaningful change and take FIFA into a new era. I will continue to work tirelessly to restore trust in FIFA and create a trustworthy governing body that governs, grows and nurtures the game in a responsible and accountable way. Together we can take FIFA Forward."
