(ATR) London 2012 double gold medalist Mo Farah said he may not be fit enough to compete in Glasgow.

"Hopefully, I should be good, but I kind of missed a bit of training, and obviously I pulled out of the weekend’s grand prix," Farah told the BBC.

Farrah was expected to compete in the 5,000m and 10,000m events in Glasgow, but abdominal pains are the latest ailment to derail his training. Athletic events for the Commonwealth Games start July 27.

Doctors have cleared the runner to participate in the games, but his latest withdrawal has put participation in doubt.

"Now I’ve got the all-clear to get back into training, and I’ll see what I can do. I’m just saying where I am right now. My aim is to compete in both events. I’m having this bit of training, but you know, we’ll make a decision further down the line."

Australian Pop Star to Close Glasgow

Pop star Kylie Minogue will perform a five-song set to close the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

"She was delighted when her management pulled off this high-profile concert," a source told Britain’s The Sun.

"Although she's huge in the UK and elsewhere, she's never fully managed to achieve global status like Beyonce and Rihanna."
