Famous video game characters Mario and Sonic will captivate the Olympic stadiums at the Games in Sochi

A video game featuring popular characters Mario and Sonic will be released for the Olympic Winter Games in 2014. The game characters will be in Sochi and will try their hand at various sports events, for example, curling, figure skating and snowboarding. The game will be available on the Nintendo Wii U platform and will be interactive and user friendly. All characters in the virtual world are developed in detail, and tracks and sports venues will be as close as possible to the real Olympic venues where athletes will perform at the Olympic Games in Sochi.

Featuring two different styles of play, the characters will be able to simulate the movements of athletes in the Olympic events, as well as perform jumps and stunts impossible in real life in the Dream events.

Mario & Sonic games have been part of every Olympic Games since 2008.
