The Pan is key in this walk, since 22 sports are qualifying for Tokyo 2020. And the main goal of team Brazil in Lima is to achieve the greatest number of vacancies for the Olympic Games, "said Marco Antonio La Porta, COB vice president and head of Mission at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.
The ceremony brought together about 80 members of the team Brasil, including the president of COB, Paulo Wanderley, and athletes of the handball teams, 7 rugby, weightlifting, 3x3 basketball and bowling. In addition to the flagging of the flags, the organization promoted a local dance spectacle.
