End of Year Reviews and TOP Indoor Lists

Guardar

It has become a tradition that the IAAF publishes its annual ‘End of the Year Reviews’ on the IAAF website – www.iaaf.org. The series is composed of eight event category reviews.

We begin that publication today with the Combined Events:

The authors A. Lennart Julin (SWE) and Mirko Jalava (FIN), start their analysis of 2011 with a look at the Combined Events (Wed 21 December), followed by Throws (Thu 22), Jumps (Fri 23), Hurdles (Sat 24), Road Running / Race Walks (Mon 26), Long Distance inc. Steeplechase (Tue 27), Middle Distance (Wed 28), and then conclude the series with their opinions about the year’s Sprint competitions (Thu 29).

The event category reviews will then be followed with a daily look back at the 2011 IAAF Challenges - the Race Walking Challenge, the Hammer Throw Challenge, the Combined Events Challenge and the World Challenge - before we conclude with a summary of the action from the second edition of the Samsung Diamond League.

Please note that the IAAF website will be updated on a daily basis throughout the seasonal holidays with the exception of 25 December.
