ELEVEN SPORTS will reach even more fans in Poland with its premium sports action thanks to a carriage deal that will see all three of ELEVEN’s channels become available to subscribers of PLAY NOW.
Thanks to an agreement with P4, operator of the PLAY network, subscribers of PLAY NOW will be able to view the Eleven Extra channel as part of their Basic package. The Eleven and Eleven Sports channels will be available as part of the PLAY NOW Sport package.
PLAY customers will have access to the LIVE and EXCLUSIVE premium sports events available on ELEVEN SPORTS, including matches from the world’s best football leagues such as Spain’s LaLiga Santander, Germany’s Bundesliga (from August 2017), Italy’s Serie A TIM, and France’s Ligue 1. Fans will also have access to thrilling sports action outside of football including Formula 1®, premium speedway races and much more.
"We are very pleased to be able to work together with Poland’s fastest developing mobile network to grow our reach of premium sports action to more fans across the country," said Danny Menken, Group Managing Director, ELEVEN SPORTS. "Our ambition is to reach every fan in each of our markets with LIVE and EXCLUSIVE sports entertainment and in-depth analysis and insight through our non-exclusive distribution strategy. This agreement helps us to achieve this goal."
ELEVEN SPORTS channels will also be available to PLAY NOW subscribers via smartphones, tablets, online and on TV.
Over the next few days, ELEVEN SPORTS viewers can look forward to a host of top drawer sports action. The main event this weekend will be the Final4 tournament of the VELUX EHF Champions League in handball, with the winner to be crowned Europe’s club champion for the 2016/2017 season.
Highlights for football fans include the São Paulo derby featuring SC Corinthians Paulista and Santos FC, and combat sports enthusiasts can enjoy the M-1 Challenge 79 in St. Petersburg and Cage Warriors 84 in London. For speedway fans, ELEVEN will cover Sweden’s Elitserien clash Piraterna Motala – Rospiggarna Hallstavik.
