Eleven Sports Confirmed As Host Broadcaster for LaLiga Legends Match

Eleven Sports in Poland hits record viewer numbers for El Clásico.

ELEVEN SPORTS has been confirmed as the host broadcaster for a LaLiga Legends match between former stars of the Spanish league and the Polish national team.

The match, which was initiated by ELEVEN and will be co-organised in partnership with LaLiga and Legia Warsaw, will be held at Legia Warsaw’s Marshal J. Piłsudski City Stadium on Friday 9 June 2017. It is the first time that a LaLiga Legends match will be held in Europe.

ELEVEN SPORTS subscribers in Poland have a front row seat to the action which will include former stars from some of the greatest Spanish clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Valencia CF. Players already confirmed to take part include former Real Madrid Galactico’s Fernando Morientes, Christian Karembeu and Míchel Salgado; Gaizka Mendieta of Valencia CF and FC Barcelona and Gianluca Zambrotta of FC Barcelona. Other players include Joan Capdevila, Fernando Sanz, David Albelda.

LaLiga Legends team will face a squad of former Polish internationals including the former Real Madrid and Liverpool keeper Jerzy Dudek with more names to be announced soon.
