On Tuesday 28 July the draws for the opening qualification rounds of the EHF European League Men 2020/21 and EHF European League Women 2020/21 will take place live on EHFTV.
The draw, which begins at 11:00 CEST, will also be streamed on the EHF European League Facebook page and on the EHF Home of Handball YouTube channel. No on-site admittance is available to outside media due to the current Covid-19 restrictions.
After the event reactions of selected players will be streamed live on the official Instagram channel of the EHF European League.
Six pairings will be drawn in the opening playing round of the EHF European League Women and 15 pairings will be determined in the EHF European League Men.
While 24 teams will play in the men’s group phase following two qualification rounds, the women’s version will also consist of two qualification rounds preceding a group phase with 16 teams. Both competitions will culminate in the EHF European League Finals played in May 2021.
The EHF European League has been upgraded from its forerunner, the EHF Cup as a new competition system has been launched at the start of the 2020/21 season.
The new look and feel of the competitions, including the new logo, will be presented on official EHF European League social media channels ahead of the draw next Tuesday.
