Launched by the sport’s world governing body, World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), the new flagship event will feature the 12 highest-ranked professional National Teams in the world.
ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK will broadcast 30 of the 38 games LIVE from the WBSC Premier12 tournament, which will be co-hosted by Japan and Taiwan from 8 – 21 November.
The remaining eight games will be shown on the same day via delayed telecast. All WBSC Premier12 games will be shown on Eleven Sports (Singtel TV Channel 110) and Eleven Plus (Singtel TV channel 111).
"The WBSC Premier12 represents the pinnacle for the sport of baseball and ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK is extremely proud to be the exclusive broadcaster of the inaugural event," says Danny Menken, Group Managing Director, ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK. "We are looking forward to bringing live, world class action to baseball fans in Singapore this November."
"The WBSC is proud that ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK will broadcast baseball’s newest global showpiece, WBSC Premier12, to fans in another important market for our sport," says Masaru Yokoo, WBSC Baseball Marketing Director.
