Dispute over Swiss Ski Rights Resolved

A dispute between the EBU, Infront and Swiss-Ski has been resolved and the respective rights remain allocated to the EBU.

A dispute between the EBU, Infront and Swiss-Ski with regard to the allocation and exploitation of the 2016/17 to 2021/22 Swiss-Ski media and broadcasting rights has been resolved and the respective rights remain allocated to the EBU. The parties conducted dispute resolution negotiations in the spirit of cooperation in order to find a constructive solution in the interests of the development of Ski sport.

Stefan Kürten, Director Eurovision Services and Sports Rights: "We are pleased to have now put this dispute behind us, allowing us to continue the relationship of the companies based on mutual trust and good faith. This is a win-win situation for all of us."

Bruno Marty, Executive Director Winter Sports: "We are happy to have mutually agreed on a solution for 2016 to 2022, thereby ensuring a smooth start into the coming season."

Markus Wolf, Executive Director Swiss-Ski: "We are happy that this dispute could be resolved and we have established the basis for a successful future."
