DB Schenker has again thrown its support behind Soccerex, being the

Official Partner for Logistics Services now for the fourth time in six

years.

DB Schenker will have a team available ahead of the Soccerex Global

Convention, 26-30 November 2011, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to manage,

coordinate and handle all shipments and deliveries into the country and

getting all product safely and quickly returned home.

"We are committed to supporting Soccerex and all stakeholders. We are

excited to be again working in Rio, Brazil. The Soccerex Global

Convention brings the football family together, and for us it's a great

opportunity to look at all the planning requirements for 2012 through to

2014 with existing and new partners," said Michael Korn, Deputy

Chairman, Schenker Deutschland AG, and responsible for sports events

with DB Schenker.

Soccerex's Commercial Director, Ali Kramer, said that "We are delighted

to be working with Schenker for a fourth year. An event on the scale of

the Global Convention needs an expert logistical point of contact for

the broad range of global companies attending and DB Schenker is the

obvious choice."

Over 4,000 delegates will attend the Global Convention this year,

including representatives from clubs, brands, sponsors, host cities,

leagues and federations, government bodies, leading infrastructure

suppliers, agencies, international media and many more.

The five day event will include a comprehensive conference line up, a

packed exhibition, numerous networking opportunities and a two day

Football Festival, all taking place between Forte de Copacabana and

Copacabana beach.
