Countries Pile Up Medals at Youth Olympic Games

(ATR) China leads the way as 72 countries have won at least one medal at the first-ever Youth Olympics.

72 countries have won at least one medal through day seven of competition at the first-ever Youth Olympics.

China continues to lead the way with 34 total medals. Russia follows closely behind in second with 32 total medals.

China also has the most gold medals with 19. Russia has 14 gold, while South Korea has won seven gold medals.

205 countries from five continents are participating in Singapore.

Host Singapore has won 3 medals.
