International Convention for Career Development in Sport

The inaugural International Convention for Career Development in Sport will take place May 7-8, 2014 in Lausanne.

The conference, titled "WISE-Work in Sports Exhibition," will take place at the House of International Sport in Lausanne.

The IOC signed on to be an Institutional Partner for the event, while the Canton of Vaud and the City of Lausanne will serve as Host Partners.

"WISE and the IOC’s Athlete Career Programme (ACP) share many common goals," said IOC Sports Director Christophe Dubi.

"It is about helping as many athletes as possible successfully manage training and competition and prepare at an early stage for life after their sports career. The ACP has already supported more than 10,000 athletes from over 100 countries and by joining forces with WISE, we aim to further increase our reach and services."
