(ATR) The Canton of Vaud and the city of Lausanne have signed up as capital partners for the 2015 WISE Lausanne conference.
"WISE represents an international sports mini-cluster in itself, similarly to what the Canton de Vaud and the city of Lausanne are trying to build up," Nicolas Imhof, head of the sports and physical education department of the Canton de Vaud, said in a statement.
"Gathering companies, educational and research institutes, public communities as well as representatives from the international sports industry opens the door to fruitful synergies."
Dates for second edition of the Work in Sports Exhibition, International Convention for Careers in Sports have been released.
The conference will take place on May 6-7, 2015 at Beaulieu Lausanne, the same venue as the first edition.
WISE announced the second edition will focus more on networking and interactive sessions, rather than the 2014 edition's focus on speakers.
More information on the conference will be posted in the coming months.
