(ATR) The opening reception of the Smart Cities and Sport Summit will be located in the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
The conference will take place November 5-7.
The summit is organized by the World Union of Olympic Cities and will bring together parties interested in "connecting sports and cities."
"I am convinced that we will emerge with new, fresh, and smart ideas on how to combine sport events and sustainable urban development," Daniel Brélaz, president of the World Union of Olympic Cities and mayor of Lausanne, said in a statement announcing the conference.

Sponsors Sport Venue Summit
A tour of the prospective Olympic Park in Hamburg will greet those who register for the Sponsors Sport Venue Summit.
The conference will take place September 17-18 in Hamburg, Germany.
Michael Neumann, Hamburg's senator for sport, will explain how the Hanseatic City is ready for the Olympics. Reinhard Wolf, deputy CEO for the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, will discuss the city's bid concept.
A one-hour venue tour of Kleiner Grasbrookwill be given to all participants in the conference.
Shaun Dawson, a former head of venue development for the London Games, and Paul May, executive director and chairman at Trivandi, will speak about London's Olympic Legacy.

WISE Lausanne
Dates for second edition of the Work in Sports Exhibition, International Convention for Careers in Sports have been released.
The conference will take place on May 6-7, 2015 at Beaulieu Lausanne, the same venue as the first edition.
WISE announced the second edition will focus more on networking and interactive sessions, rather than the 2014 edition's focus on speakers.
More information on the conference will be posted in the coming months.
