World Rugby Conference and Exhibition

The International Rugby Board has announced the inaugural World Rugby Conference and Exhibition.

The event will run Nov. 17-20 in Dublin, Ireland.

According to the IRB, the conference will include a "comprehensive program of meetings, conference sessions, workshops and networking events accompanied by an exhibition that will facilitate interaction."

The event will be organized around the IRB General Assembly and IRB Medical Commission Conference. Representatives from all 118 National Member Unions are expected to attend.

World Conference on Doping and Sport

The fourth World Conference on Doping and Sport will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa from Nov. 12 to 15.

A new version of the World Anti-Doping Code will be ratified by WADA at the event.

"For this reason, members of the world’s anti-doping community are encouraged to attend this highly-significant event."

WADA stakeholders will be allowed to publicly comment on the proceedings during the conference.

World Stadium Congress

Speakers for the World Stadium Congress in Doha, Qatar have been announced.

Ali Nasser Al Khalifa, CEO, ASTAD,;James Bulley of LOCOG; Krysztof Pohorecki, Executive Director, EURO 2012; and Suzanne McCormack, Venue Development and Overlay Manager, Glasgow 2014 are a few of the confirmed speakers for the event.

Topics for discussion include: "Achieving Sustainability of Sport Facilities for Qatar 2022 through QFAS Sport," "Managing the Stadium Experience to Generate Long-Term Legacy After a Tournament," and "Addressing the Cultural and Economic Impacts of Stadium Site Selection."

The conference will be held from June 2 to 5 in the Qatari capital.
