ITU Science + Triathlon Conference
"Reflect on the past – design the future" is the theme of the International Triathlon Union's ongoing Science + Triathlon Conference, the ITU's second to date.
"For a sport born out of innovation, it’s only fitting that triathlon continues to foster the growth of research and scientific trends," said Dr. Sergio Migliorini, Chair of the ITU Medical Committee.
The conference runs Feb. 7 to 9 in Magglingen, Switzerland.
Topics for discussion range from: analysis of the ITU's competition structure; periodization in rowing, running, biathlon, and skiing for its application to triathlon; training load and injuries, and more.

mSport Summit
The 2013 mSport Summit is scheduled for April 24 in London.
The conference will focus on the ever-icreasing importance of mobile devices in sport, and the development of mobile technology.

World Sport Congress
The 2013 World Sport Congress is scheduled for Feb. 26-27 in London.
Speakers include Pat McQuaid, president of the International Cycling Union; Enrique Sanz, general secretary of theConfederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football; and Gideon Sam, president of the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee, among others.

Speaker Additions for SportAccord
New speakers have been added to the 2013 SportAccord Convention in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games CEO David Grevemberg and Vasily Kiknadze, the CEO of Russia’s ANO Sports Broadcasting, are now confirmed to speak at the event.
Grevemberg and Kiknadze join Andrew Zimbalist, Mihir Bose, Don Shumacher and Beatriz Garcia as the newest speakers for the Convention.
