International Sports Event Management Summit

The 8th International Sports Event Management Summit will take place on November 4-6 in London.

Speakers for the conference include Andrew Ryan, Executive Director Association of Summer Olympic International Federations, Debbie Jevans, CEO England 2015, David Grevemberg, CEO Glasgow 2014, and more.

Around the Rings Editor-in-chief Ed Hula will be moderating three panels throughout the conference.

He will moderate panels on "Rugby and New Markets," "A Lasting Legacy for London 2012," and a country focus on Russia ahead of the Sochi Olympics.

World Rugby Conference and Exhibition

Sebastian Coe will speak at the World Rugby Conference and Exhibition.

Coe will host a special networking breakfast to share experiences in helping London deliver the 2012 Olympic Games. Coe will also give insights for what Rugby should prepare for ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympics.

The event will run Nov. 17-20 in Dublin, Ireland.

According to the IRB, the conference will include a "comprehensive program of meetings, conference sessions, workshops and networking events accompanied by an exhibition that will facilitate interaction."

The event will be organized around the IRB General Assembly and IRB Medical Commission Conference. Representatives from all 118 National Member Unions are expected to attend.

City Events

Speakers for the 2013 City Events conference have been announced.

Wolfgang Baumann, Secretary General of The Association For International Sport for All, Marc Vandenplas, FISU's Summer Universiade Director, Geraint John, Principal of Populous, Marco Scolaris, International Federation of Sport Climbing's President, and many more will speak at the event.

The organizers for the event this year include GL Events Group and FISU.

Confirmed attendees include National Olympic Committees, organizing committees, stadium operators, city representatives, and more.
