Conferences Convention -- Emerging Host Cities; Doha GOALS

(ATR) The Emerging Host Cities Conference, Doha GOALS, and the International Sports Convention highlight the end of 2013 conferences.

Emerging Host Cities

A new Turkish Olympic bid will be discussed at the Emerging Host Cities Conference.

Leader of the Istanbul 2020 bid Hasan Arat will speak at the conference on Istanbul's previous Olympic bids. He has also pledged that Turkey's"next bid will be our strongest yet."

Representatives from Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, India, Indonesia and Turkey will be present at the Emerging Host Cities Conference.

The conference will take place on December 4-5 in Dubai's Park Hyatt Hotel.

Speakers for the conference include Dong Hoo Moon, secretary general of PyeongChang 2018; Ingmar De Vos, CEO of the International Equestrian Federation; and many more.

Panels for the conference include "Getting into the Game and Bidding for Sports Events," "Positioning Cities as Vibrant Hubs for Events," "Planning and Preparing a City’s Infrastructure for Major Events," and more.

Doha GOALS Forum

Registration for the 2013 Doha GOALS is now available online.

The conference will take place on December 9-11 in Doha, Qatar.

Speakers for the conference have been announced and can be found here. This year Doha GOALS is bringing together Sports Ministers from around the world to discuss policy and how to further a global sports agenda.

International Sports Convention

The International Sports Broadcast Expo has been added to the Geneva International Sports Convention.

The convention now contains 18 conferences to take place December 10-11, 2014 in Geneva, Switzerland. All 18 conferences will run simultaneously at the Palexpo Exhibition Hall.
