City Events
Dates and theme for the 2013 City Events Conference have been announced.
Sessions will run November 13-15 in Lausanne. The theme of the conference is "Sporting Events in the Near Future."
The organizers for the event this year include GL Events Group and FISU.
Confirmed attendees include National Olympic Committees, organizing committees, stadium operators, city representatives, and more.

Middle East Sport Event Summit
The theme for this year’s Middle East Sport Event Summit is "Managing World Class Events to Ensure Smooth & Effective Planning & Operation."
The summit will take place June 10-12 at the Marina Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Workshops and speakers under the themes "Regional Perspectives," "Sport Events and Grassroots," "Event Sponsorship," "Safety and Security," and "Sport and the Media" will present.

The Middle East Sports Youth Forum will take place on the first day of the Summit. The event will include students from around the Middle East to facilitate discussions with senior industry members.

Sport Broadcast Summit
The Sports Broadcast Summit has been announced as one of the six United/City Conference summits.
The event will take place at Old Trafford on Nov. 19 and continue at Etihad Stadium on Nov. 20.
Speakers for the summit include Marc Watson, Chief Executive - BT Vision, Philip Bernie, Head of BBC Sport, Richard Verow, Commercial Director - Sky Sports, and more.
A digital platform session will highlight the second day at Eithad Stadium.
