World Stadium Congress

The World Stadium Congress released its early confirmed list of speakers for the event.

The Congress will take place on June 2nd-5th in Doha, Qatar.

The Congress is expected to host over 200 delegates ranging from Designers, Managers, Government Actors, and other Executives.

Topics that are up for discussion include venue master planning and stadium security, as well as afocus on the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

International Convention for Sport in Africa 2013

Topics for discussion at CISA 2013 have been announced.

Panels include: "Role of local authorities in financing sport," "Tourism, Sport, and Recreation," "What future for the African Games?" and "What financing models for a sustained development of sport in Africa?"

The 2013 CISA convention will take place on May 3rd-5th in Dakar, Senegal.

SportAccord Convention

SportAccord Convention announced the theme of "City Forum 2013."

The forum will focus on "city objectives in hosting sporting events and explore ways of measuring the performance of events."

Dr. Beatriz Garcia from the University of Liverpool will deliver the keynote address called: "What’s Your Position?"

The forum will feature panels titled "The Right Fit – Matching Events With City Priorities," "Using Social Media To Maximise Benefit," and "A Quick Guide to Multi-Sport Events."

Speakers include Peter Bayer, Managing Director of OSM – Opensportsmanagement; Andrew Craig, The Craig Company; Vincent Gaillard, Director General of SportAccord; and others.
