Sixteen men’s Futsal national teams will compete in Guatemala City from May 3-9, 2021. Competition will crown a regional champion and qualify four teams to the FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021Concacaf has confirmed that the 2021 Concacaf Futsal Championship will take place in Guatemala City, Guatemala, from May 3-9, 2021.
The World Cup qualifying tournament will be played at the Domo Polideportivo and Teodoro Palacios Flores Gymnasium. Both venues have a long history of hosting top level international Futsal competitions, including the 2000 FIFA Futsal World Cup.
"We are very pleased to confirm that the Concacaf Futsal Championship will take place in Guatemala City. The Guatemalan Football Federation has a very good track record of hosting major Futsal competitions and we know they will deliver a great event," said Concacaf General Secretary Philippe Moggio.
"We are proud that Concacaf has confirmed Guatemala as the host for the Concacaf Futsal Championship," said Fedefut President Gerardo Paiz. "We will be delighted to welcome the National Teams of the region and look forward to working together with Concacaf to make the event a success."
The 16-team group stage will take place between May 3-5. After round-robin play, the first and second place finishers in each group will advance to the quarterfinals.
The quarterfinal matches will be played on May 7, with the four winners qualifying for the semifinals of this competition and earning a spot in the FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021. The semifinals and final will take place May 8 and 9, respectively.

The region’s Futsal qualifiers were initially scheduled for May 2020, but due to the pandemic and the postponement of the FIFA Futsal World Cup, they were rescheduled for 2021.
In February 2020, the participating teams were drawn into qualifying matchups and four groups of four teams. Following the rescheduling of the competition the group stage will now be played as follows:

Matches will also be available on the Concacaf Official App (subject to territory restrictions). The free mobile app is available in the Apple and Google Play stores.
The FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021 was initially scheduled to take place September 12 – October 4, 2020, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic the Bureau of the FIFA Council announced on May 12, 2020, that the tournament would be rescheduled for September 12 – October 6, 2021.
