City Events will have a full house of International Federations

The upcoming City Events conference will have a full house of Olympic and non-Olympic International Sports Federations eager to meet ambitious host cities.

The second edition of City Events will be hosted in the Olympic Capital, Lausanne, Switzerland from November 16-18, 2011. City Events is the only international platform dedicated to connecting host cities and public institutions with International Sports Federations and private event owners.

Like the successful edition last year, an important element of the two day conference is the dedicated speed meetings set up between the participants and the International Federations. City Events is eager to confirm that all of the Olympic Sports are expected to attend, as well as many non-Olympic and private event owners. This creates a fantastic opportunity for all participants to meet with the event owners of their choice.

Lars Haue-Pedersen, TSE Consulting's Managing Director, says: "City Events is the only place where quality meetings can be set up with event owners specifically to discuss their events. Sports are there to find potential partners to host their events. Our clients are certainly looking forward to the opportunity."

The conference also provides a great opportunity for host cities, regions and countries to learn, and this year's theme 'Three dimensions of successful event hosting' and the highly respected speaking list of speakers promises to provide new insights and practical examples.
