Balich Worldwide Shows in Charge of Lima 2019 Ceremonies

Lima 2019 announced that Balich Worldwide Shows the world leader company in creation and production of large scale events, based in Milan, will realise the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games, to be held at the National Stadium in Lima next July.

After a competition, which lasted approximately three months and had the participation of 18 of the most reputable national and international companies, regarding the production of ceremonies, the Italian company obtained the highest score.

The agreement was signed today between the President of Lima 2019, Carlos Neuhaus Tudela, the Communications, Commercial and Marketing Manager of Lima 2019, Juan Antonio Silva, and Simone Merico, Vice President of the Italian firm.

Balich Worldwide Shows is one of the highly reputable companies part of Worldwide Shows Corporation (WSCorp), a world leader in the live entertainment and communication industry.

Combining multicultural talents that compose, in each project, custom international teams, Balich Worldwide Shows has held live events, large-scale celebrations, new entertainment formats and various Olympic events.

CELEBRATING SPORTS

The team that today work in the company has performed the Torino 2006, Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016 Olympic Ceremonies (produced by CC2016), which was focused on environmental sustainability. They also produced the Olympic Flag Handover of Salt Lake City 2002 and London 2012.

The creation and production of major events, throughout the five continents, has endowed the company with a wide experience in terms of ability representing different cultures and environments.

The company, directed by Marco Balich also made the first Italian resident show: "Giudizio Universale - The Last Judgment, Michelangelo and the Secrets of the Sistine Chapel" with the scientific advice of the Vatican Museums.

It is worth remembering that the Opening Ceremony of the Pan American Games will be held on July 26, while the Closing will be on August 11. In addition, the Opening of the Parapan Am Games is scheduled for August 23 and the Closing for September 1.
