The European Youth Olympic Trials were held in Azerbaijan this past weekend, marking the first test event for the Baku 2015 European Games.
Over 700 athletes stayed in the Baku 2015 athletes village and competed at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium, the host venue for archery during the European Games.
Simon Clegg, chief operating officer of Baku 2015, reports that initial feedback on the athletes village from competitors has been positive and went on to say that the organizing committee is "delighted to be able to offer such world-class facilities to all of our guests."
All fifteen of the European Games venues will be tested before the games begin in 2015.
