(ATR) Around the Rings is settling into a new office for the first time in nearly 12 years.
The move was spurred on by the tremendous growth the number one source of Olympic news information has experienced in staff, output and subscribers in recent years.
"Support from subscribers and advertisers is what makes ATR the undisputed leader for news about the Olympics. Larger headquarters are now critical if we are to keep up with the demands of our business," ATR publisher Sheila S. Hula said.
Renovations on the completely redesigned headquarters began in April and were completed in July. ATR worked out of an interim office while renovations took place.
The redesigned office is nearly double the size of the previous space, allowing ATR ample room for its rich collection of Olympic memorabilia accumulated over the last 20 years of on-the-scene coverage as well as the excellent staff dedicated to bringing subscribers the latest news from the Olympic Movement.
While the ATR team in Atlanta breaks in the new office, the company is also expanding its reach globally. ATR reporter Aaron Bauer has opened a new office in Rio de Janeiro one year before the Olympics come to the city.
"Having a reporter on the ground in Rio a year before the Games is imperative to delivering quality information about the latest developments to our subscribers. It demonstrates our commitment to the Olympic Movement and the expanding global reach of Around the Rings," Hula said.
Bauer is the latest addition to ATR’s global network of reporters in locations such as the United States, Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Tokyo.
