The 2014 Right To Play Big Red Ball took place on April 29 In New York.
Over 25 Olympic athletes were in attendance, and the event netted $1.6 million.
Olympic gold medalist Johann Olav Koss first established Right To Play in 1994 during the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer as a fundraising body to help people in disadvantaged areas of the world.Six years later, the organization transitioned into an official implementing non-governmental organization.
Carin Zaleski, who serves as director of external affairs for Right to Play, joins Around the Rings to discuss this year's Big Red Ball and upcoming events for Right To Play.
