Ashgabat 2017 has today launched the ticket pricing structure for the upcoming 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in September, which will take place over 12 days of competition across 21 sports.
The President of the 5th AIMAG Organizing Committee, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has approved the ticket pricing structure with the objective of delivering a world class sporting event which is inclusive, accessible and affordable.
To encourage spectators to enjoy the live sporting action taking place and experience the health, inspiration and friendship that the Games will bring to Ashgabat, the Executive Committee are pleased to confirm that tickets for sport sessions will be priced at 7 TMT and 10 TMT for adults and children under 14 will be free.
Chairman of the 5th AIMAG Executive Committee, Dayanch Gulgeldiyev said: "Ashgabat 2017 will be a special event for the people of Turkmenistan, so with this in mind and under the direction of the President of the 5th AIMAG Organizing Committee, we are pleased to be able to offer affordable ticket pricing to ensure everyone has the opportunity to attend. This is a unique opportunity to watch international sports and to support our athletes."
With over 600,000 tickets available for more than 160 sessions, spectators will be able to watch the best athletes from Asia and Oceania, including recent Rio 2016 Olympians, competing in Wrestling, Weightlifting, Taekwondo and Track Cycling.
Tickets for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies which will be held in the newly constructed Ashgabat Olympic Stadium, will be available in four pricing categories ranging from 50 TMT to 500 TMT.
Tickets will be available to purchase for international spectators via Authorized Ticket Resellers in their region, a full list of ATRs is available on ashgabat2017.com/tickets.
National spectators will be able to purchase tickets directly from the City Ticket Box Offices in the summer, with dates and locations being announced in the coming months.
