Around the Rings Adds International Powerhouse Maher Safi to Marketing Team

(Atlanta) – Around the Rings is pleased to announce the appointment of Maher Safi as Global Marketing Director, effective immediately.

Safi joins ATR headquarters in Atlanta. Before joining ATR he spent 10 years working as a marketing expert for the Qatar Olympic Committee. During that time he helped QOC develop winning bids for events that included the 2015 Handball World Championship, the 2016 UCI World Championship, and the 2019 IAAF World Championship, among others.

"Maher has a vision of where he wants to take Around the Rings as it moves into its 28th year of publishing. We are absolutely delighted to have someone of his stature and depth of experience," says Sheila S. Hula, ATR publisher.

"I look forward to providing opportunities for our clients to tell their stories and their successes with the Olympic Family and the sports industry," Safi says.

Safi’s brief will be to develop and manage marketing and partnership strategy for ATR and its worldwideroster of clients as well as to develop digital media and content marketing plans.

Safi holds an MS in international finance and a BA in finance and economics.
