As national partner, the Allianz logo can be seen at the four competition venues of Barcelona 2013 (Palau Sant Jordi, Bernat Picornell Pool, Montjuïc Municipal Pool and Moll de la Fusta). Allianz will also provide insurance for the competitions.

"During the World Championships in Barcelona, the world’s best athletes will fight to achieve their goal after months of hard work and improvement. (This is also) one of the values that guide our activity to offer the service possible for clients and brokers," said Jose Luis Ferré, general director of Allianz Seguros.

More than 2,500 athletes from all over the world will participate at the 15th FINA World Championships Barcelona 2013, competing in six aquatic sports: swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, open water swimming high diving and water polo.

Allianz Seguros is committed to sports, sponsorting the oldest 10km race in Barcelona, the Jean Bouin Gran Premio Allianz. Moreover, the company cooperates with Olympic sports and insured Spain’s athletes at the Olympic Games in Beijing (2008) and London (2012).
