ALEXANDRA HÖRLER WILL BE THE FACE OF THE NEW PANAM SPORTS CHANNEL FOR LIMA 2019

The outstanding journalist and Peruvian television host has agreed to be the official Host of the digital streaming platform that will bring sports fans across the Americas exclusive content before, during and after the upcoming Pan American Games.

The official launch of the channel is scheduled for the beginning of July.

LIMA, PERU (June 17, 2019) — A few weeks are now all that remain between the start of the continent’s greatest sporting celebration and the biggest event in the history of Peru - the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.

As the Games rapidly approach, Panam Sports wants to ensure that more people than ever before can watch not only the best moments of Lima 2019, but also exclusive behind-the-scenes content to experience the Games in a whole new way.

Panam Sports is preparing to launch its first digital streaming platform the first week of July. Sport fans across the Americas will be able to enjoy exclusive daily content from Lima 2019, athlete interviews, unforgettable moments from past Games and so much more. The aim is to provide diverse and unique content that will resonate with audiences from all 41 nations of the Panam Sports family.

As the face of the Panam Sports Channel, Hörler will draw from her wealth of experience working with Fox Sports, TV Peru, Latina, América Televisión and DirectTV Sports to engage and interact with audiences across the globe.

"We had the opportunity to meet Alexandra when she was our emcee for the signing ceremony of LATAM as an Official Sponsor of the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima. She is a highly professional and passionate journalist who lives for sport, and we believe that she fits the perfect profile as the Host of our Panam Sports Channel during the Games," said Panam Sports President, Neven Ilic.

The journalist and television host says she is very excited about this new challenge in her professional career.

The Panam Sports Channel will officially be live on July 2nd for the Lighting Ceremony of the Pan American Flame at the Teotihuacan Pyramids, and will be available through the Panam Sports website - www.panamsports.org.
