Adore Creative has won a fourth consecutive international victory for Russian Sports.

In a unanimous vote, by the FINA Bureau in Shanghai Friday July 15th, the campaign created for Russia's bid to host the 2015 FINA World Championships has brought home yet another high profile win for Adore Creative.

This marks the fourth time Los Angles based advertising agency Adore Creative has been called upon by the Russian sporting establishment to work on a media campaign for them. Previously Adore's international campaigns have won Russia the hosting rights to the 2018 FIFA World Cup the 2014 Sochi Olympics and the 2013 Universiade Games.

Rupert Wainwright, Adore CEO and Executive Creative Director, expressed his great pride in being a part of another first for Russian sports. "It was so exciting to be creating a campaign for Russia for another major sporting event, and to win four major sporting events in a row is really a dream."

Using breathtaking surreal imagery of divers jumping off iconic buildings and the transformation of an opera house into a synchronized swimming pool, the campaign focused on Russia's love of aquatic sports, and the state of the art facilities Kazan, "The Sports Capital of Russia", has to offer.

The FINA or World Aquatics Championships are the World Championships for aquatic sports: diving, swimming, open water swimming, synchronized swimming and water polo. It is the third largest single sports World Championship event only behind the FIFA World Cup and the World Athletics Championships. During the 2009 FINA World Championships in Rome, the TV viewing audience reached over 1.5 billion viewers world wide and made Michael Phelps an international superstar when he won seven gold medals.

This spring Adore created an Olympic campaign for Sochi 2014 general partner Rosneft, Russia's largest publicly traded energy company. This campaign included a spot with an action packed heli-skiing sequence, also a heartwarming spot about Russia's greatest natural resource, its young Olympians of the future.

Collaborating on the FINA campaign was Helios Partners, the Atlanta based international sports marketing consultancy, with whom Adore has shared much success. Adore Creative produced the project with long-term partners Media Arts Moscow and DTV-MA.
