The 2019 Summer Universiade, also known as the World University Games, is in Naples, Italy. The games are taking place July 2 to July 14.

While this is the 30th edition for the summer games, it's also the 60th anniversary where nearly 6,000 athletes are expected to compete.

60 years ago Turin hosted the inaugural Summer Universiade.

The Kenyan received the maximum sanction for irregularities in his biological passport and the Court considered that he was part of a system of “deliberate and sophisticated doping” to improve his performance. He will lose his record and the bronze medal at the Doha World Cup.
