The Swedish Olympic Committee is proud to present a further 14 ambassadors who have pledged their support to help Sweden battle to win the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games bid for 2026.
The new faces – who are all either present or former Olympians or Paralympians – have pledged their support to the SOK’s bid to bring the Games to Sweden for the first time in 114 years and are prepared to get involved in making it happen.
"Experiencing an Olympic Games on home soil is the greatest thing that an athlete could experience in their career," admitted cross country ski star Stina Nilsson, who won a gold medal in Pyeongchang earlier this year.
She is joined on the list of ambassadors by her fellow Pyeongchang gold medallist, André Myhrer, who took the honours in ski slalom.
"If we succeed in bringing the Games to Sweden, the impact on Swedish sport would be huge," Myhrer said. "Watching Swedish Olympic athletes at home would start dreams and goals for many youngsters".
In addition to the pair, 12 other Swedish athletes have proudly agreed to become ambassadors for the bid – full list below:

In total, there are 39 Swedish active and former elite athletes supporting the Swedish bid to host the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2026 – and more will be announced in the near future. All names are available at www.stockholm2026.se
