(ATR) Soccerex will be returning to Miami for the second Soccerex USA event on Nov. 21-22 at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort.
Soccerex USA will be held for the second straight year with the participation of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf), Major League Soccer (MLS), and the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
Organizers say more than 2000 delegates from more than 90 countries will be attending.
Among the more than 120 speakers will be MLS Commissioner Don Garber, Concacaf General Secretary Philippe Moggio, Manchester United Head of Content & Programming Ian Nolan, and Adrian Varela, president of International Affairs for River Plate.
Topics for the conference include men’s and women’s soccer growth across the Americas and the future of soccer business, including esports, betting, OTTs and strategic investment.
The Football Business Certificate, presented by the Football Business Academy in partnership with Soccerex and Football Agent Education, will be held on November 23-24.

Nadia Comăneci Speaking at SportAccord Pan America
Esports, governance and rebranding strategies, protecting athletes and social responsibility will be among the key topics at the first Regional SportAccord in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in December.
The theme of the Regional SportAccord Pan America 2019 conference program , which runs from Dec. 10-12, is "A United Approach to the International Sport Landscape in the Americas".
Olympic gymnastics legend Nadia Comăneci has been confirmed as a keynote speaker and will kick off the third day of the conference.
ASOIF President Francesco Ricci Bitti will deliver the opening keynote address. International Judo Federation President Marius Vizer and International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation President Ivo Ferriani will be presenting viewpoints from an international sports federation perspective.
It will be the first networking and conference event to bring the Pan American, and the Olympic and non-Olympic communities together in one location.
After it closes, the fourth edition of the Americas Best Practices Symposium organized by Panam Sports and the United States Olympic Committee will welcome sport leaders from 41 countries throughout the continent.
The Regional SportAccord Pan America exhibition floor will remain open for an extra two days to accommodate attendees of the symposium which takes place from Dec. 13-14 in the same location, the Broward Convention Center.
On December 13, Panam Sports will present the inaugural Panam Sports Gala at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa. The best athletes and the most inspiring performances from the Lima 2019 Pan American Games will be honored.
UNESCO Supporting Global Sports Week Paris
UNESCO is joining French President Emmanuel Macron as a patron of Global Sports Week Paris, the new sport business forum that makes its debut at the Louvre in February.
The core agenda of the English-language event, which will be held from February 5-7, will focus on exploring the two-way relationship between sport and society at a time of disruptive change.
Organizers say it will feature well-known figures from the worlds of global entertainment and government as part of a programme of "talk show"-style discussions and interviews in the round.
"Among other powers, sport fosters social inclusion and gender equality. The Global Sports Week is a special opportunity for activating this power collectively," says the Director-General of UNESCO Audrey Azoulay.
UNESCO joins existing supporters of Global Sports Week including Macron, who is High Patron of the event, and Founding Partners BPCE Group and the French Ministry of Sports. The International Paralympic Committee, UEFA and EPCR are also backing the event.
The plans are for Global Sports Week Paris to become an annual event.
Passes are available at an early bird rate through Nov. 15 at the event website.
Host City 2019 Adds Gold Partner
Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) has signed on as a Gold Partner of Host City 2019.
As Gold Partner, TEQ will send a delegation led by CEO Leanne Coddington to Glasgow, Scotland for the event on Nov. 26-27.
"Host City will provide us a great opportunity to share experiences, thoughts and learnings with industry leaders from around the world, while also showcasing what makes Queensland a great destination for successful major events, whether sporting, cultural or business events," Coddington said in a statement.
Two IOC members are among the speakers confirmed for the event.
Marisol Casado, who is also the International Triathlon Union (ITU) president, and Craig Reedie, whose tenure as World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) president ends on December 31,join a roster of speakers that also includesLouise Martin, President of the Commonwealth Games Federation and David Lappartient, President of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).
Entering its sixth year, Host City has become the largest meeting of cities and sports, business and cultural events.
Agenda topics for this edition include sustainability, disruption, gender equality, creating impact, procurement, readiness, fan engagement, titanic disasters and herculean achievements.
SportsPro OTT Summit
Industry leaders from Sky, YouTube, BT Sport, UEFA and beIN Media Group will join a series of immersive case studies and deep dive sessions during the SportsPro OTT Summit in Madrid in less than three weeks.
Among the sessions lined up is an exploration of the NBA OTT/Digital strategy with NBA Executive VP of Digital Media Melissa Brenner. Frank Arthofer, Global Head of Digital Media & Licencing at Formula 1, will identify how F1 leveraged their OTT platform to attract new global audiences.
More than 800 senior OTT and digital leaders will be attending the third edition of the summit, which begins on Nov. 19.
