(ATR) Fresh off selecting Etienne Thobois as chief executive officer, the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee is now seeking applicants for three more positions in the fledgling OCOG.

The first recruitment wave features openings for the chief financial officer, international relations director and human resources director. The applicants chosen for the job will help create the foundation for the OCOG that organizers expect to be finalized by mid-January.

The role of CFO seeks a candidate that "advises the Presidency, the General Management and the bodies in order to protect against financial risks of all types and provides critical and relevant financial information to inform the decisions of the Management," the application reads.

The future international relations director must ensure good relationships with all stakeholders of the Olympic Movement, including the Olympic family, International Federations, National Olympic and Paralympic Committees and sponsors.

"He/she proposes the organizational strategy, the recruitment and the commitment of the teams to ensure the success of its mission in each phase of evolution of the organization - strategy, planning, operations and dissolution - in the respect of the budget allocated to management of international relations."

The human resources director will work alongside the international relations director and CFO in ensuring a diversity of talents joins the OCOG and that the volunteer program is robust. The creation of an operating OCOG would be priority number one for the applicant selected.

Paris 2024 chairman Tony Estanguet and CEO Thobois are currently the sole members of the OCOG. Estanguet was named future chairman of the OCOG during the International Olympic Committee’s inspection of the French capital in May while Thobois was hired to retain his bid committee position on Dec. 20.

Interested candidates can apply online via the Paris 2024 employment page. As well as the listed positions, candidates are welcome to submit a spontaneous application for future consideration by the OCOG. Candidates can submit basic information, a resume and cover letter all on the employment page.

With Thobois fending off applications from 60 other candidates, it seems jobs with the Paris 2024 OCOG are in high demand.

The deadline for applications for the three new positions is Jan. 15 at 1000 CET.
