(ATR) Don't blink or you will miss them, the elite skiers and snowboarders at the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympics.
Competition continues at the 2018 Winter Paralympics through March 18. Today, 12 medals were awarded in alpine skiing and snowboard disciplines. Competitors took part in the women's giant slalom for alpine skiing and the men's and women's snowboard cross.
Snowboarding has an increased presence at the 2018 Paralympics, after making its debut in Sochi.
Enthusiasm for the Games remains high, as the International Paralympic Committee announced record ticket sales. Over 320,000 tickets have been sold for the Games surpassing the numbers sold in Sochi.
