More than a dozen cases with Adverse Analytical Findings were announced by the International Weightlifting Federation, between Saturday and Sunday.
The list includes five athletes with reanalysed samples of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The announcements are in official releases of the IWF site.
London 2012
The IWF reports that as a consequence of the International Olympic Committee’s re-analysis program in connection with the 2012 London Olympic Games, the urine samples of the following Athletes have returned Adverse Analytical Findings:
Ms. Meline DALUZYAN (ARM) – Dehydrochloromethyltestosterone and Stanozolol (S1.1 Anabolic Agents)
Mr. Valentin HRISTOV (AZE) – Dehydrochloromethyltestosterone (S1.1 Anabolic Agents)
Mr. Mikalai NOVIKAU (BLR) – Dehydrochloromethyltestosterone and Stanozolol (S1.1 Anabolic Agents)
Mr. Oleksiy TOROKHTIY (UKR) – Dehydrochloromethyltestosterone (S1.1 Anabolic Agents)
Mr. Ruslan NURUDINOV (UZB) – Dehydrochloromethyltestosterone (S1.1 Anabolic Agents)
In line with the respective rules the IWF imposed mandatory provisional suspensions on the Athletes.
The International Olympic Committee is responsible to decide about any consequences relating to the Athletes’ participation in the 2012 London Olympic Games. In all cases where it is determined that an Anti-Doping Rule Violation was committed, the responsibility to conduct results management will be transferred to the IWF in terms of consequences extending beyond the Athletes’ Olympic Games participation.

Cristina Iovu (Romania)
The IWF reports that Ms. Cristina IOVU (ROU) has been charged with the violation of Article 2.2 of the IWF Anti-Doping Policy.
As a consequence, the Athlete is provisionally suspended in view of a potential anti-doping rule violation.
In any case where it is determined that the athlete did not commit an anti-doping rule violation, the relevant decision will also be published.
The IWF will not make any further comments on the case until it is closed.
Maria V. Rodriguez Araya (Costa Rica)
IWF reports that the urine sample of Ms. Maria Virginia RODRIGUEZ ARAYA (CRC) has returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for Clostebol (S1.1 Anabolic Agents).
As a consequence, the Athlete is provisionally suspended in view of a potential anti-doping rule violation.
In any case where it is determined that the athlete did not commit an anti-doping rule violation, the relevant decision will also be published.

Ana V. Rodriguez Araya (Costa Rica)
IWF reports that the urine sample of Ms. Ana Victoria RODRIGUEZ ARAYA (CRC) has returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for Clostebol (S1.1 Anabolic Agents).
As a consequence, the Athlete is provisionally suspended in view of a potential anti-doping rule violation.
In any case where it is determined that the athlete did not commit an anti-doping rule violation, the relevant decision will also be published.

Mateus F. Gregorio Machado (Brazil)
IWF reports that the urine sample of Mr. Mateus Felipe GREGORIO MACHADO (BRA) has returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for Oxandrolone (S1.1 Anabolic Agents).
As a consequence, the Athlete is provisionally suspended in view of a potential anti-doping rule violation.
In any case where it is determined that the athlete did not commit an anti-doping rule violation, the relevant decision will also be published.

Teerapat Chomchuen (Thailand)
IWF reports that the urine sample of Mr. Teerapat CHOMCHUEN (THA) has returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for exogenous Testosterone and at least one of the Adiols (5aAdiol and/or 5bAdiol) (S1.1 Anabolic Agents).
As a consequence, the Athlete is provisionally suspended in view of a potential anti-doping rule violation.
In any case where it is determined that the athlete did not commit an anti-doping rule violation, the relevant decision will also be published.

Duanganksnorm Chaidee (Thailand)
IWF reports that the urine sample of Ms. Duanganksnorn CHAIDEE (THA) has returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for exogenous 5a-androstane-3a,17b-diol (5aAdiol) and 5b-androstane-3a,17b-diol (5bAdiol) (S1.1 Anabolic agents). As a consequence, the Athlete is provisionally suspended in view of a potential anti-doping rule violation. In any case where it is determined that the athlete did not commit an anti-doping rule violation,the relevant decision will also be published.

Poonam Dalal (India)
IWF reports that the urine sample of Ms. Poonam DALAL (IND) has returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for Stanozolol (S1.1 Anabolic Agents).
As a consequence, the Athlete is provisionally suspended in view of a potential anti-doping rule violation.
In any case where it is determined that the athlete did not commit an anti-doping rule violation, the relevant decision will also be published.

Dayana Dimitrova (Bulgaria)
WF reports that the urine sample of Ms. Dayana DIMITROVA (BUL) has returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for Furosemide (S5 Diuretics and Masking Agents).
As a consequence, the Athlete is provisionally suspended in view of a potential anti-doping rule violation.
In any case where it is determined that the athlete did not commit an anti-doping rule violation, the relevant decision will also be published.
