(ATR) Around the Rings received an exclusive tour of the USOC Ted Stevens Sport Science Center while at the USOC Olympic and Paralympic Assembly in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The Ted Stevens Center is the newest facility at the USOC training campus just miles away from the Colorado Rockies. The center is home to a large workout facility where athletes can train with a vast array of equipment and exercises.
The center also features a sports science department and sports medicine facilities. Athletes can train in a climate and altitude controlled room or even train on a machine that decreases up to 90 percent of their body weight. After their workout they can recover in the sports medicine rooms or see one of the doctors on site.
Athletes can also learn how to prepare healthy meals in the industrial kitchen or participate in culinary activities for team building exercises
