Olympic champion Brian Boitano teaches Team USA athletes,fans how to make delicious, easy meals in new web series
The United States Olympic Committee announced the launch of Cooking with Team USA and Brian Boitano Presented by Kellogg’s, a weekly web series on TeamUSA.org. The 20-episode series features Olympic figure skating champion Brian Boitano making delicious, easy meals with Team USA athletes in the teaching kitchen at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The first two episodes of the series launched last week, and in the premiere, 2014 Olympic ice dancing champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White learned how to make Kellogg’s Corn Flakes crusted French toast with cherry walnut rum syrup. In episode two, Esther Lofgren, a 2012 Olympic gold medalist in rowing, baked chocolate chip cookies alongside Boitano. Fans can visit TeamUSA.org/CookingWithTeamUSA for the latest videos, recipe cards, outtakes and more.
"We are always exploring ways to create fun, new content for our fans, and Cooking with Team USA is an innovative way to get to know our athletes outside of competition," said Lisa Baird, USOC chief marketing officer. "Additionally, this series showcases the advances the U.S. Olympic Committee is making in the nutrition space, including our state-of-the-art teaching kitchen, which facilitates training between our athletes and our sport dieticians."
A new episode of the web series will be released every Wednesday featuring new dishes and Team USA athletes through Sept. 9. Recipes for all of the dishes will be featured on TeamUSA.org for fans to try at home. Athletes making appearances in the series alongside Boitano include:

Boitano, a three-time Olympian, reached the pinnacle of sport at the Seoul 1988 Olympic Winter Games where he captured the men’s figure skating gold medal. In 2009, he pursued his passion for the culinary arts and hosted What Would Brian Boitano Make? on the Food Network. In 2014, he served on the U.S. Presidential delegation at the Sochi Games.
