(ATR) Coca-Cola’s partnership with Special Olympics International will now run through 2023.

The company, which is also an Olympic worldwide sponsor, is a founding partner and global sponsor of Special Olympics since the organization’s inception in 1968.

Financial details of the extension were not disclosed.

"Special Olympics is deeply honored to continue our longstanding partnership with Coca-Cola, one of the most iconic brands in the world," Special Olympics International CEO Mary Davis said in a statement.

"Over the past 52 years, we’ve created transformational experiences for athletes and families around the world through our shared commitment to building positive attitudes toward people with intellectual disabilities. Together, Coca-Cola and Special Olympics will continue to create a more inclusive world for all."

James Quincey, chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola, added "We are deeply proud of our partnership with Special Olympics and excited to renew our support at a time when the core values we share are needed more than ever."

Quincey was appointed to the Special Olympics Board of Directors in February 2020.

USA Triathlon Renews with HotelPlanner

USA Triathlon extends its partnership with HotelPlanner as the organization’s Official Booking Partner through 2023.

Hotel Planner is the online provider for group/individual hotel bookings worldwide. The partnership entails support for USA Triathlon programs, along with USA Triathlon National Championships.

Additionally, the partnership will offer a revenue share program for race directors with discount rates for USA Triathlon Annual Members at hotels.usatriathlon.org.

"While COVID-19 has dramatically shifted the way we travel and impacted multisport events nationwide, HotelPlanner will continue to be USA Triathlon’s preferred resource for athletes who do choose to travel responsibly next season and beyond," said Victoria Brumfield, USA Triathlon Chief of Staff.

Global Esports Federation Powers Up for Greener Future with JuiceBar

The Global Esports Federation announced its partnership with JuiceBar in order to advance the federation’s commitment to sustainability. JuiceBar will serve as Global Supporter for Sustainable Energy.

In this agreement, JuiceBar will use its technology in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in cities GEF will hold events. Some events include the Global Esports Games beginning in 2021.

"The partnership with JuiceBar underscores the Global Esports Federation’s commitment to contribute to building sustainable communities worldwide, aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, including our commitment to the use of affordable and clean energy and in taking actions to combat climate change and its impacts," said Chris Chan, President, Global Esports Federation.
